Foothill Securities, Inc. is a FINRA registered broker-dealer, and is registered with the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) as an Investment Advisor throughout the United States. Founded by Rex Gardiner in 1962, the securities firm specialized in the sale of mutual funds.
In 1976, Mr. Gardiner bought out his partner and decided to leave sales and manage the broker-dealer. The firm has grown steadily since, dynamically increasing the number of Offices of Supervisory Jurisdiction (OSJ) and Financial Advisor associates. Rex retired from day-to-day operations in 2007. He currently holds the Chairman of the Board of Directors position at Foothill.

Organizational Structure
Foothill proudly represents more than 50 branch offices throughout the United States and over 200 Financial Advisors. These associates allow us to provide a wide range of investment advisory services and investment products such as mutual funds, variable annuities, variable life, direct participation programs, as well as stocks & bonds.
The Home Office in Mountain View, California acts as the nerve-center of the firm and is responsible for corporate administration and monitoring sales of its OSJ offices and representatives.
